Rest in Peace, John Fair

Our condolences go out to John's family. John lost his life on November 10th in a two vehicle crash east of Rock Creek. Boundary Creek Times reports that slippery road conditions were likely a contributing factor in the crash.

John was most generous at Rendezvous allowing access to his gold claim for field trips.

Christmas Party - new venue - we don't have to cook!

New venue and format for the Christmas Party.

Our annual Christmas Party will be held in a private room at  the Barley Mill Pub in Penticton.
Same date – Saturday December 7th
5:30-6:30 social time
Dinner at 6:30

A table will be set up for our traditional silent auction, and a box provided for food bank donations.

The club will pay for your meal, and you are responsible for your own alcohol purchases.

We need to know numbers and food choices by November 24th. Please e-mail the club address with your intentions, you can also call Duane if you have questions.

Katherine and Duane’s computer is down at the moment – waiting for a part.

There are three menu choices:
A traditional Turkey Dinner, Baby Back Ribs, or a vegetarian option.

Kindly respond with the number of people and the menu choice for each.

We look forward to a great party, without having to cook!

New Venture for Courtnay and Luke - Morticia Bloom

Courtnay and Luke have stepped back from the club as they are extremely busy with work, and their new store.

"We are under Morticia Bloom on Facebook if anyone would like to message us and the address of the shop is 428 Main Street, we have a purple door and are open Tuesday to Saturday 10 to 5! Thanks"

Courtnay welcomes any of us to stop by the downtown Penticton shop, and we are hoping that they will be able to join us for the Christmas Party.
